I am a 22 year old graphic designer from Detroit. I find solace in classic movie romances and am perpetually fascinated and perplexed by technology. This blog focuses on both my personal and professional art and design projects.

This past weekend we threw our event for our senior thesis project, 3rd Nature: Detroit Creative Awareness. This was the culmination of everything we’ve been working towards this semester and it was really, really amazing.

These are the photos of the set-up of the space. We joined up with Detroit-based Throwback Media at the Russell Industrial Center to throw a networking party/exhibition/concert in an attempt to support/bring together those impacting the city in a positive way through what they create.

All signage and decorations were laser-cut cardboard and hand painted, going along with our event identity. M80, a local artist also renting a space at the Russell contributed art for the entrance and even fashioned a sign-up desk for us out of the materials found in his shop.
